If you're a young fan or not aware of the history of the game, Kansas State being kinda of good is just how college football is to you. Well that isn't the case.

So yeah, if you watched that video, you get it. Kansas State was awful. So the video my departed friend Fatty made is a bit outdated at this point, Kansas State went on to win a shared Big 12 title in 2012 in likely the magnum-opus of Snyder's second term. The bottom line is this, Snyder is a hell of a coach and mortality is a pain in the ass.
Snyder was born tyears before America entered World War II, he cut his teeth in the California prep circuits and then coached under Hayden Frye for nearly a decade before taking over the morose Wildcats. That career path isn't likely to be duplicated again in the modern era.
There's various rumours about Snyder's health, even some rumblings he may step aside now. i just sincerely hope the man stays as healthy as possible for as long as possible. Snyder's contract expires at the end of the conclusion of this season (shortly into 2018) If he doesn't step aside now, surely this season is his last.it could be a story book ending for Snyder in that fashion as KSU is poised to be a legit contender for the Big 12 crown.
Edit 2/13/: Bill Snyder released a statement this morning that his is battling throat cancer. #1 This blows #2 Fuck Cancer. I hope that the tone of the letter is accurate and he indeed will be coaching this season, but just get well Mr Snyder that is all that matters.
