Oklahoma Softball Ladies Stickbat Prospectus

Oklahoma is the defending national champion and preseason #1 squad in the land. The Ladies open their season this afternoon at 1PM vs Auburn airing on ESPNU, kicking off the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. Oklahoma defeated the Tigers last year to win the crown, so no better way to kick-off the season than a rematch then a game vs a decent BYU squad.

Coach Gasso has had extremely high praise for freshman Alissa Dalton so she's one to look out for on a young squad that was already really good. Gasso also hasPaige Parker and Paige Lowary on the hill to give Oklahoma arguably the best pitchers in the nation. The team just is brimming with talent and it starts no seniors, Oklahoma is set up potentially for a historic run over the next two seasons.
