Nostalgia

"American Pickers" is a fun show, it's value to the History network withstanding. I just finished an episode and thought what will people be nostalgic for in their youth in the future.  There's an explosive uptick in retro gaming right now, everyone lost their minds over the Nintendo mini this Christmas but when the currently children are adults what toys will they have nostalgia for?








Apps gonna be in retro style in thirty years? Will the concept of even collecting and documenting this sort of thing just not matter due to volume?Will an Iphone with an app installed and a non cracked screen be considered mint?

  Toys and collectibles* (* mass produced money grabs of successful movies) will just continue to go down in value thanks to mass production. I used to collect baseball cards, there's literally no serious market for that these days, if you told someone that in the 80's they would think you're crazy

What will a show like "American Pickers" even look like in 30 years?

I hate getting old. Get off my lawn
