The following ranking is based on two things.
#1 My enjoyment of each film - Is it bloody? is it scary?
#2 How Jason Voorhees looks. - Is he menacing? Are the special FX good?
Important to note that my criteria #2 will plunge the original & Part V due to the obvious lack of Jason Voorhees
#1Part VII - The New Blood - The greatest looking Jason of the series, films plot is nonsensical even for these movies with an undead killer zombie.
Soundtrack is great.
#2 Part IV: The Final Friday - This is probably the most brutal film of the series. The kills are obscene, the humor attempted is on point, Jason looks menacing.
#3 Part8 Jason Takes Manhattan: Jason looks like he constantly coats himself in KY. It's gross, so it works. The film itself is a bit of a let down but the high point scenes towards the end move it up the list.
#4 Part VI - The birth of killer zombie Jason, It's bit too over the top with humor at point but it is enjoyable.it loses spots because Jason is played by two different body types and it is noticeable at times.
#5 FT13th Remake- was fine, Jason looks great and the story was an unique blend of the original three films.
#6 FvJ - Stole a firefighters jacket I guess, throughly average movie however.
#7 Part III - Debut of the mask, innovative kills for the cheesy 3D effect, but really not even memorable outside of that
this movie is bad.
#8 Part II - Bag head Jason >>> No Jason
#9 Part V - Not Jason, thus not canon
#10 FT13- No Jason, no ranking
#11 JasonX - Dude looks like he's wearing a potato sack for most of the film.film is too campy for even my taste. Super Jason looks dumb too.
