Romo's retirement is official. There really isn't a lot more than I can say about the guy that hasn't been put on the internet already. Romo's stats are there i black and white, his injury history is too.
I guess the obvious thing to point out here is that Romo deserved better.
He deserved better from Jerry Jones who made him play the bulk of his career behind a piecemeal line.
He deserved better from the media who labeled him a choker
He deserved better from the "fans" who bought into that label
He deserved better from luck, injuries robbed him of 30+ games over his career
I guess I'll remember Tony for taking Dallas out of the dark era, he obviously had help (Dez,Witten) but the QB is still the engine of the time and in the dark times after Aikman The Cowboys engine had broken its crankshaft.
This undrafted kid out of a podunk FCS school went on to become a four-time probowler and just completely reshape the Cowboys team record book.
