Spring Game In Review

Quick Thoughts are here.

Rewatched the game and tried to really see what I could get out of it.

Calcaterra and Jones performed very well with the ball in their hands, and it was good to see that out of Jones. Green has the tools but I just dont know if the trust will ever be there. Oklahoma will be adding Grad transfer Badet at the start of June + two four star WRs in Lamb and Rambo. As of today I'm not expecting Calcaterra and Lamb to redshirt, I see the WR1  unit: Andrews, Brown,Mead, Badet. WR2  Calcaterra,Basquine,Jones,Lamb

Vanilla on the lines is fine: The OL was pretty impressive i thought just across the board you can tell that Bedenbaugh has uprgraded the talent.

DL- Depth is needed.  Oklahoma got a bit of good news as word is trickling out that Bledsoe is only going to miss four more games - it was announced on the broadcast but apparently that has been passed along the Sooner Club. That'll help. Lampkin is out with injury/attitude issues so that isn't ideal. Oklahoma would get a great boost if Pagano signed on but we're all in wait and see mode there, and the Minnesota transfer visit situation is in a bit of flux while they wait on Pagano I've been lead to believe.  I've heard the Pagano situation will come to a head shortly. Pagano completed his visits with Oregon this weekend. So we'll see.

Linebacker-  Doucet transfer might have caught you off guard if you weren't paying attention but he's been an attrition canididate since the rumored 4-3 alignment. I see just worlds of potential in that linebacker room. You can tell the coaches are working to build depth by moving Mann in and moving Murray everywhere. Just young and talented but that's going to lead to mistakes this year.

Running Backs -  If Adams progresses and Anderson is healthy, I'd like to see Sermon/Brooks both redshirted. Adams/Anderson/Sutton will be a potent trio behind that line.
