John Blake And The Late 90's: The Pre- Stoops Retrospective

I'll see if I can dig up the picture but I had a chance to meet John Blake at a meet and greet during spring camp of 1998 He was pretty big guy and his hand absolutely swallowed mine at the time, I mean he's a former Oklahoma nose guard and I was just a kid. He was the coach of the Sooners who were awful the last too years but still. it was a big deal. I honestly don't think pictures do this man any justice if you aren't around people that size all the time.It's hard to believe I was just 13 years old in nineteen ninety eight when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell, and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer's table.
