Taking a ;look at Big 12 recruiting today, we will revisit it again on January 20th and then on National Signing Day which I believe is ,Febuary 1st. Below you'll find the three most well known rankings (you can seek out ESPN, or RankByOffer as well but bug off I'm lazy)
Quick Thoughts
Scout: Scout gets a lot of crap but at least their conference ranking pages includes their national ranking (lIike I said I'm lazy, but why isn't this a thing among all these companies)
Rivals: Simple, functional. not overloaded with ads.
247: You're bankrolled by CBS, can we try to include less ads on you pages.
There isn't a lot of eye popping differences between Rivals & 247, Scout seems to be outlier in its rankings and thats where hardcore Recruitniks .take issue with them

Brief Thoughts
Brief Thoughts
Baylor: Is in deep deep crap, if you follow recruiting writers on twitter you'll know their staff is handing out offers like crazy, has to be done but it feels like wasted energy for them this year. Focus on solid 3 star kids, instead of swinging for the fences.Baylor is losing battles to Middle Tennessee State and offering kids with only FCS offers now. Long battle up hill for Rhule coming.
Iowa State: Cyclones will likely finish in the 4-6th spot in the league when ink drys on National Signing Day. My main takeaway is Campbell's staff is zoned in on upgrading their defensive front seven by adding juco talent, most notably Matt Leo from Arizona Western.
Texas Tech: Kliff knows next year is a hot seat year (tho some will argue he'd still be safe due to buyout) Tech signed several Juco DB's at mid term and they'll be needed for next yea. Tech's schedule next year is a minefield of explosive offenses and no time to catch a beak because they'll play eleven straight games. Dakota Allen a talented linebacker that was once booted from Tech, seems to be heading back to Lubbock in February, that defense will need him.
Oklahoma State: It's a class full of solid high school talent it doesn't seem to have much flash, so it feels very much like a developmental class. The Pokes have been fending off offensive line poachers, they'll be battling that through national signing day.
Kansas: Beaty rebuild job continues.and he was recently awarded a contract extension off a two win year so that says it all about the situation at Kansas. Kansas lost a lot from a surprisingly stingy defense, so they had to hit the jucos hard. If the class ends up in the 70's on NSD it is a solid class for them.
TCU: Small class size, high on quality. Class won't rank well with the services due to its size but it's an extremely good group.
Kansas State: A typical Kansas State class, not highly ranked heavy in the trenches with developmental talent and the offensive skill talent doesn't jump out at you. Snyder abides tho
WVU. Much like Oklahoma State it feels and looks like a developmental class, Dana did a good job addressing needs at midterm but offensive spark seems lacking in this group
Texas: Strong's recruiting style may bit Texas on the rear with this class, he put off taking early commitments in favor of late momentum, well much of those possibilities are out the door for Texas now. Herman's class should close strong and I'll be shocked if it isn't a Top 25 class by the services on National Signing Day but it is possible they don't.
Oklahoma: Class will have to fend off runs at elite players like Jacob Philips and CeeDee Lamb. You'd rather want people wanting your commits than the alternative. Class also needs to sure up the defensive line but it is clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the league today, and will be on National Signing Day.
