G5 Access Bowl Contenders

AAC

Memphis- Home date with UCLA, reasonable schedule otherwise

USF - Home date with weak P5 in Illinois - manageable schedule. hosts Tulsa

Tulsa - Away game at Oklahoma State - favorable home schedule hosting Navy,Houston, @ USF @ Toledo

The AAC has the most teams capable of reaching the Access bowl. Besides the above I could make an additional argument for Navy's road.  I'd put the odds of the AAC making the Access Bowl at about 65%

MWC

Boise State- two winnable P5 games with Wazzou and UVA. travels @ Troy

Looking at the schedules and Boise State seems to be the only MWC squad with the ability to do this based on low tier P5 and the quality of their team historically - However I think there is much more parity in the MWC now and Boise seems to be on a down turn compared to lofty standards. I don't expect the MWC to win the Access slot.

Sunbelt

Idaho - Last season of FBS ball, schedule is manageable - Hosts Western Michigan (who should be bruised up from their other two OOC games by that point)@ Missouri isn't a juggernaut - Could be a hell of a Cinderella story

Troy - Hosts Boise State, Travels @LSU - Gave Clemson all they could handle. Neal Brown is :P5 bound at the end of the year.

MAC

Ohio - Managable P5 of @Purdue, hosting Kansas - misses Western Michigan in regular season - Hosts Toledo.

Toledo -Hosts Tulsa and plays @ Miami(FL)

.

CUSA

WKU - @ Illnois, @Vandy  Host La Tech

UTSA - Hosts Houston, @Baylor - Hard road but both opponents will be retooling considerably

I suspect a CUSA undefeated will need a lot of chaos in the other G5's to get the Access slot. The bottom of the conference brings the top of the conference down far too much in SOS 10%

I believe the G5 Access spot rep while go to the AAC champion this year but Idaho pulling that off would be some "Rudy" stuff
